WELCOME
BAMBUPARQUE is an emanation of the famous Bambouseraie of Prafrance located at Anduze in the South of France.
At the time of its creation in 1990, Bambuparque was to be devoted to the acclimatization, the culture and the production of tropical bamboos. But very quickly, due to the favourable local conditions, the species of moderate bamboos came to pack the production at the point to become majority.
Nowadays 75% of the produced bamboos are originally from tempered countries and 25% come from tropic countries.
The species we sell fall into four categories, conveniently relating to the height of the bamboo: dwarf bamboos: never reaching more than 1.50 m (5 ft) small-sized bamboos: ranging from 1.50 m to 3 m (5 ft to 10 ft) medium-sized bamboos: ranging from 3 m to 9 m (10 ft to 30 ft) giant bamboos: 9 m (30 ft) high and over
This sizes are given for bamboo growing in a suitable climate and under good soil conditions. Otherwise, the height will be reduced.
For example, a giant plant that is 20 m (65 ft) high in Parfrance, will only be 12 m (40 ft) in Paris, and only 8 m (26 ft) in Hamburg.
Currently Bambuparque is entirely independent from Bambouseraie of Prafrance despite we work together maintaining a straight collaboration.
